About Me

José Costa has a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Lisbon and a large experience in teaching. He was a teacher at the University of Lisbon for more than 15 years: first as an Assistant and then as a Teacher Assistant. At the university he taught a large spectrum of subjects: from very low level embedded systems and computer architecture courses to operating systems and distributed systems, to parallel and distributed computation and also mobile computation and security courses.Since 2016 he has become an instructor at ITUp, and has been teaching OutSystems courses all over the world. During that time, he has not only attained all OutSystems certification degrees but he is also certified by OutSystems to teach any of its official courses. Also, due to his work with the community he has been recognized by OutSystems as an MVP.
