The Low-Code Developer is an instructor-led joint program with Técnico+, Instituto Superior Técnico's advanced and professional postgraduate school.
It is a comprehensive and hands-on training program on the OutSystems Platform Core functionalities, teaching the skills to design, develop and test reactive web low-code applications - while also promoting coordination, project management, and best practices. Its continuously updated curriculum promotes a thorough understanding of how to develop low-code apps while enhancing expertise in, amongst others, architecture, integration, and performance.
The program comprises two modules: Low-Code Application Development Foundations and Low-Code Application Development Consolidation and a 10-hour Hackathon.
Our Boot Camp is an instructor-led reskill program with an immersive and hands-on learning framework packed with engaging, curated, and relevant content. You will be fluent in the OutSystems technology in just 12 weeks.
If you're ready to work hard to launch your career as a software developer, we're ready to help. Apply to our OutSystems Turn Up Boot Camp, and benefit from:
Low-Code Application Development Foundations module combines theoretical presentations and guided hands-on exercises to practice each topic, where the instructor will focus on teaching OutSystems Development Core features. At the end of the module, trainees will implement a small project to wrap up all learned concepts.
The Hackathon is scheduled for an all-day Saturday session after completing the first module. It will be an invaluable opportunity to sharpen your problem-solving skills, collaborate with other attendees, and exchange ideas and experiences. The event is optional but highly recommended and will be hosted at the Técnico+ facilities. By participating, you'll gain a wealth of knowledge and experience, be challenged to think outside the box and push your creativity to new heights.
Low-Code Application Development Consolidation module uses a hands-on approach, by simulating a two-week project implementation, complemented with masterclasses. The project follows an Agile approach, with daily SCRUM meetings and weekly demos. The requirements are carefully tailored so participants practice the knowledge obtained in the first week and master the OutSystems Core features and common patterns. Masterclasses have the goal of teaching the foundations of other competences not covered in the initial module, like Architecture, Best Practices or Asynchronous Processes on the OutSystems Platform.
