The ODC Developer module combines theoretical lessons and hands-on practice sessions. The instructor will focus on teaching the key aspects of OutSystems Development in the ODC Studio. By the end of the module, participants will have the opportunity to put their newfound knowledge into action in a small project encompassing all covered concepts.
This module uses a hands-on approach by simulating a two-week project, complemented by masterclasses. It follows an Agile approach, with daily SCRUM meetings and weekly demos. The requirements are tailored so that participants can practice and master the OutSystems Core features and common patterns. The Masterclasses aim to teach other competencies not covered in the initial module, like Architecture, Security, or Asynchronous Processes.

According to Gartner, by 2023, over 50% of medium to large enterprises will have adopted a Low-code Application Platform (LCAP) as one of their strategic application platforms. The demand for low-code developers, and in particular OutSystems Developers, is at a record high. Enrolling in this program will help you jumpstart your OutSystems career and be job-ready to work on simple projects.
This is a beginner-friendly program with no prerequisites. Still, it is advisable to understand basic programming concepts (for instance, Java or .NET) and relational databases (like SQL Server or Oracle).
Many of our students engage in self-learning these concepts before starting the program to better take advantage of their time while attending the course.
Our Admissions team can help you achieve your learning goals successfully by advising you on what the best course of action in your situation is. They will be more than happy to support you and send you all the information you require, including self-learning courses to speed up your learning.
You will be evaluated in two assessments covering the concepts learned throughout the program. You will also need to attend all class sessions and complete all assignments.
The mentioned assessments also have the purpose of preparing you to take the included OutSystems certification exam and become an Associate ODC Developer.
