The Extended Metamodel component in Forge is an extension that allows the access to some interesting data.

For example you can check which apps you have installed from the Forge with their version numbers. Or you can get the list of REST web services that your environment is exposing. It's really worse it to check it out.

Note that this component uses non-supported features.
